How it works

The best agents check with you before they spend money, send messages, or change something important. AI Text-a-roo lets that check-in happen by text, so you can approve from anywhere in seconds.

For sensitive actions, set a security PIN on your dashboard, or have your agent set it for you. Your agent asks for it, you text it back, and AI Text-a-roo checks it against a bcrypt hash and tells your agent yes or no. Because SMS sender IDs can be spoofed, the PIN is how your agent knows it's really you.

Set it up in three steps

  2. [02]Tell your agent which actions need your approval.
  3. [03]Approve by text with your PIN. Three wrong tries locks it for five minutes.

Questions

Why does my agent need a PIN if it already knows my number?

Sender IDs on text messages can be spoofed. A PIN proves the message came from you before your agent does anything sensitive. Wrong guesses are rate-limited to three attempts every five minutes.

Does my agent store my PIN?

It doesn't need to. Your agent passes what you texted to AI Text-a-roo, which compares it with a bcrypt hash and answers yes or no. We never store your PIN in plain text.
