Text Hermes Agent from any phone, without Twilio

Install the aitextaroo package, verify your phone, and run aitextaroo-bridge --agent hermes. Your texts become Hermes prompts and its replies come back by SMS, without setting up your own Twilio account.

Set up Hermes

    Install:

    Copy
    pipx install aitextaroo
  2. 2

    Verify your phone. It asks for your number and the 6-digit code, then saves your API key:

    Run the bridge:

    aitextaroo-bridge --agent hermes

  • “Text your AI's number: “Summarize my unread email.””

Good to know

  • Hermes can also send SMS through your own Twilio account. AI Text-a-roo is the no-Twilio option.
