Text Grok Bot from your phone, and get texts back

Set up Grok Bot

   In a Grok Bot chat, say:

   Add a custom MCP server called AI Text-a-roo at https://api.aitextaroo.com/mcp

   Sign in with your phone number and the 6-digit code when Grok Bot asks you to authorize. We'll text you that the app is connected.

   So you can text Grok Bot anytime, ask it to set up forwarding:

   Create a webhook routine that reads my text from AI Text-a-roo's webhook and replies with send_text. Then register the routine with AI Text-a-roo using set_webhook.

   If you've set a security PIN, Grok Bot asks you for it. AI Text-a-roo then texts you where your texts are going. Text UNHOOK anytime to stop forwarding, or stop it on your dashboard.

   Text your AI's number. Grok Bot wakes up, does the work, and texts you back.

Good to know

• Grok Bot's computer hibernates when idle, so a background bridge process isn't a good fit. Use the MCP server and a webhook routine instead.
• Webhook routines accept up to 200 runs per hour each.
