## How it works

AI Text-a-roo gives your AI agent its own phone number. Save it as a contact and text it the way you'd text a friend. Your agent reads the message, does the thinking, and texts you back.

Because it's plain SMS, it works wherever your phone works: on a trail with one bar of signal, on a basic flip phone, or on a locked-down work phone where you can't install apps.

Your agent keeps the thread's context, so follow-ups just work. “What about for dinner?” means exactly what you think it means.

2. Verify your phone with the 6-digit code we text you. That's the only step that needs you.

### Do I need a smartphone or an app to text my AI?

No. AI Text-a-roo uses regular SMS, so any phone that can send a text works, including flip phones. There's nothing to install on the phone.

### Which AI am I actually texting?

Whichever agent you connect: an always-on assistant like Grok Bot, a coding agent like Claude Code, an open-source agent like OpenClaw or Hermes, or your own. Your agent does the thinking. AI Text-a-roo carries the texts.
